I decided to try a look that's not so 'Olivia' because the fun in fashion is being able to experiment. Granted, I never go too crazy.
During last fall's NYFW for ready-to-wear spring 2016 a new trend emerged, the daytime pajama and not meant for daytime naps! Now suddenly, pajama-inspired clothing was gracing various runways ready to hit the streets in all its comfy glory!
Let's fast-forward to this past NYFW, a soft pastel color palette was seen at Michael Kors, Versace, Armani, Altuzarra, and the list goes on. Then we meet the slip, taking the pajama look from last season and taking it to a new level with sexy slinky dresses as seen at Givenchy, Valentino, Alexander Wang, Rag and Bone to name a few.
The satin slip is a bit too risqué for yours truly and the pajama look taking comfort a bit too seriously. One welcomed trend for moi is the soft pastels. So, with that in mind, I fused these trends together to make them my own. To dress up my daytime look, I walked the runway of daily life wearing my Prada heels and (of course) Windsor Avenue jewelry.
What do you think of this look? What trends are you adoring? Let us know, we love hearing from you!
