I'll Stop Wearing Black When They Invent a Darker Color
It’s the ultimate chic color. I immediately picture the LBD… a black turtleneck worn with your hair pulled back in a chignon and pearl stud earrings… a knee-high black coat for winter. Have you ever seen someone not look good wearing black? It’s a color that seems to suit all complexions and body types.
For moms out there, it’s the ideal go-to-outfit color scheme lugging around a little one in one arm while doing something else with the other. As we know all too well, a toddler’s threat of spillage is high. Black inconspicuously camouflages those spills and stains, letting us continue the day with style.
It’s a great travel color. Even after a long international flight, you’ll look crisp and fresh at your destination.
I love mixing designer wear with more affordable fashion pieces. Affordable apparel easily looks expensive and very high-end when it’s in black. So, if you don’t want to break your wallet, but do want to update your wardrobe with some key basic pieces, black is the way to go!
