Originally from Hong Kong, Natalie is one of the most interesting people I know. We first met in Hong Kong and Beijing years ago and hit it off right from the start. Natalie is gorgeous and very talented with an amazing singing voice, but her poise, kindness, caring nature, and our shared love for dogs make her a great friend. Nine months ago, Natalie moved to Shanghai with her husband. I couldn't resist reaching out to her for some of her top picks in a city that is literally 'ON' 24/7. Knowing Natalie, she wouldn't stray us in the wrong direction, we're in good hands. After all... her favorite quote is, "Life is not a dress rehearsal."

1. Cachet at The Langham Shanghai in Xintiandi
I love sitting out al fresco on a crisp Autumn day with the latest "Travel + Leisure" issue and a piping hot Green tea.

2. Fabric Market on the South Bund

My style has recently evolved to a neutral palette with unique details. This is a treasure trove of buttons, trimmings and fabric where you can bring your own personal and unique style to life.

3. The Beast Cafe in Xintiandi

There are several branches around the city, but this is by far the best. The tableware and interior is a combo of gold and green (my favorite) and the coffee is foolproof.

4. Mi Thai on Anfu Lu

Great food, lovely interior and the location is great. Mi Thai serves a great Thai brunch and lunch menu.

5. M50

My husband is a lover of art and I too have learnt to appreciate its beauty. This contemporary art district is great for both collectors and those in need of inspiration.

6. Sunday Brunch at the PuLi Hotel and Spa

Brunching is BIG in Shanghai. It's super social but after a week in this crazy city, I love heading here as you get the brunch minus the chaos.

7. Zen Life Store (ZLS)

My latest obsession is porcelain and ZLS do affordable and beautiful pieces with fun patterns and eclectic colors. Perfect gifts and great statement pieces for your home.

8. Green Massage

A true Hong Kong girl at heart, no city is complete without a go-to massage joint. There's a plethora of options, but my trusted go-to is the chain "Green Massage".
